Tomáš Kučera

Tomáš Kučera is a designer and sculptor. He comes from Světlá nad Sázavou from a glassmaking family. He studied multimedia at the Secondary School of Graphic Arts in Jihlava. He went on to study product design at the Scholastika College of Higher Education and now studies in the glass studio of Rony Plesl at the Prague UMPRUM. He also worked in the studio DECHEM. Nowadays his work is mostly made of glass on the border of design and free creation. Besides drink sets, he also works on free sculptures, which are created in his studio in the Highlands.
