Ondřej Přibyl
A fundamental figure in Czech non-figurative photography. For around fifteen years he has been studying objects in their real essence and dynamics, ascribing their visuality an entirely different meaning through his own lens. As time passes, the desire prevails in Přibyl to internally analyse relevance and he is fascinated by the properties and abilities of materials in hidden or marginal forms. What is more, he approaches this with immense precision and concentration, which is an authentic quantity that provides a sovereign guarantee over the whole itself.

Ondřej Přibyl (*1978, Prague) graduated from the studio of Pavel Štecha and Ivan Pinkava and did his doctoral study at the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He did internships at Type design and Graphic design under prof. Rostislav Vaněk and at the Visual Communication Studio at UdK Berlin. He is a member of the kunstWerk artistic formation, lives and works in Prague region.
